Who operates the site

Silicon Forecast is an independent UK project in pre-launch development. Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@siliconforecast.com once the project domain is active.

Information processed

This version has no user accounts, newsletter, contact form or embedded advertising. The hosting provider may process standard request information—including IP address, browser details, requested page and timestamp—for security, delivery and operational logs.

If you email us, we will use the information provided to respond, maintain an appropriate record and meet legal or compliance obligations. Please provide only what is necessary.

Cookies and local storage

The pre-launch site does not set non-essential cookies and does not use behavioural analytics, advertising pixels or affiliate tracking. No consent banner is shown because there is presently nothing optional to consent to.

Future affiliate links may allow a retailer or network to set tracking information after a visitor follows the link; that behaviour and the relevant providers will be disclosed first.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Retention and changes

Email and compliance records will be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, legal obligations and legitimate record-keeping. This notice will be updated when the site gains forms, analytics, accounts, affiliate tracking or other material processing.
